Day2 Furano - Biei - Asahikawa

After breakfast, immerse yourself in the winter traditions of a Hokkaido farmhouse. Visit a local farm in Furano to experience harvesting "wintering vegetables"—a method where vegetables are buried in deep snow for natural preservation, enhancing their sweetness. We'll dig through the snow to uncover these hidden treasures and then use them to prepare a delicious pot-au-feu for lunch in the snowy landscape.

Next, we'll head to Furano Cheese Factory to sample local cheeses and dairy products. From there, we'll move to Biei to witness the mystical Blue Pond and Shirohige Falls, where the snow transforms the pond into a stunning white landscape with a backdrop of the Hidaka Mountains. Our journey continues to see the iconic Christmas Tree a lone pine standing majestically in the vast snowfield. Finally, we'll check in at your hotel in Asahikawa for the night.
